Job Overview

Austin Fraser is seeking a skilled Paralegal - Private Client to join their team in Bexleyheath. The successful candidate will work on straightforward Wills, preparing and submitting draft documents for approval.

Responsibilities
  • To take instructions from clients at the office by prior appointment in relation to simple estate planning.
  • Prepare, explain, and submit draft documents for approval as quickly as possible - ideally on the same day or within 24 hours.
  • Present the firm's account promptly and secure immediate settlement.
  • Refer complex enquiries to senior members of the Private Client team.
  • Advise on Lasting Powers of Attorney and prepare and register documents following signature.
Requirements
  • Pleasant and courteous manner with efficient and co-operative attitude.
  • Diligent and conscientious approach to work with ability to work unsupervised.
  • Good interpersonal and organisational skills with PC literacy and accurate keyboard skills.
  • Experience working in a busy Private Client department with drafting and Lasting Powers of Attorney experience.
  • Law degree/LPC desired, although not essential.
  • Ability to travel between offices.
