We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Team Leader to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Harrow, providing exceptional care to individuals with mental health needs.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD), with a good understanding of the Mental Health Act 1983 and latest nursing practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise nurses and support workers, ensuring effective allocation of care duties within team members' competence.
  • Monitor staff rotas to ensure efficient staffing on shifts, informing the Head of Care of any shortfalls or issues affecting patient care and safety.
  • Coordinate individual patient programs of care, focusing on risk assessment and risk management strategies, meeting Care Program Approach requirements in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all staff contribute to the efficient running of the hospital and creation of an atmosphere conducive to patients' best interests.
  • Duties may include acting up for the Head of Care and/or Hospital Manager in their absence.

Salary

The salary for this role is £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
