Data Migration Specialist

**About the Role:** We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer to join our team at RedRock Resourcing in Bristol. As a SQL Developer & Data Migration Specialist, you will design and implement data migration strategies that ensure seamless transitions from legacy systems to modern platforms.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures.
- Lead data migration projects, including mapping, transformation, and validation processes.
- Execute ETL operations and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and other stakeholders to meet data requirements.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and best practices.
- Enhance database performance through indexing, partitioning, and optimization techniques.
About You:
Proficiency in SQL development, including complex queries and stored procedures.
Strong knowledge of database design principles and relational database structures.
Proven track record in large-scale data migration projects, preferably in pensions or financial services.
Able to troubleshoot and optimize database performance.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Estimated salary: £70,000 - £80,000 per annum.
