Senior Medical Officer - Neurological Rehabilitation

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Medical Officer to join our team at the London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. As a leading centre of clinical excellence, we offer a dynamic and supportive work environment that fosters growth and development.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position, with a competitive salary of £120,000 - £180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing medical care and rehabilitation to patients with complex neurological disabilities.
  • The ideal candidate will have prior experience in managing acute problems and interventional procedures such as botulinum toxin injections for spasticity and hyper-salivation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing primary responsibility for the medical care and rehabilitation of in-patients on the RHRU
  • Working with the multi-disciplinary teams on the ward, supporting the Unit Director and providing supervision to junior medical staff
  • Liaising with other specialities within the hospital and across London as necessary
