Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a Band 5 Graduate Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment with ongoing development and clinical supervision.

About the Role

This rotational position offers 5-month placements across various acute and community services, including medicine, emergency admissions, stroke and neurology rehabilitation, trauma and orthopaedics, respiratory, and surgery. You must be prepared to work across a 7-day service, which involves working weekends, bank holidays, and extended hours as per service needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in flexible working patterns, including weekends, to meet the needs of the service.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
  • Current registration with the Health Care Professional Council (HCPC).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, relatives, and patients.
  • A willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £24,907 per annum, plus benefits including access to a wide range of training and development opportunities, and a comprehensive pension scheme.
