Join our team at Labcorp Drug Development as an Animal Health Veterinarian Intern. In this role, you will provide laboratory animal medical and surgical care, working closely with supervisors to ensure humane support and adherence to regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide expert veterinary care for laboratory animals.
• Collaborate with supervisors to develop and implement training programs for staff.
• Contribute to the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee as needed.
• Develop expertise in client-requested veterinary procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate of RCVS accredited veterinary school or equivalent.
• 3 years of veterinary clinical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of small and large animals used in research.
• Must be able to work in a laboratory setting with laboratory animals.

Compensation

$75,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience.
