Job Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Support Services Associate to join our team at Rosehill Resource Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver high-quality, person-centered support to adults with learning disabilities, focusing on their needs and preferences.
  2. Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a safe and inclusive environment, promoting independence and choice.
  3. Develop and implement personalized plans to support service users with various activities, ensuring their well-being and happiness.
  4. Provide emotional support and reassurance to individuals with complex disabilities, empowering them to reach their full potential.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 21 hours per week is required for this part-time position.
  • You must have a strong understanding of adult learning disabilities, including complex needs and requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with colleagues and service users.
  • A calm and patient demeanor is necessary when working with vulnerable individuals, particularly those with challenging behaviors.
