About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our dynamic team at Amber Labs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable infrastructure solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement AWS infrastructure solutions using services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS, and others.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment and release processes.
  • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform to ensure consistency and reproducibility of environments.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability of AWS resources.
  • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, working closely with development and operations teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, prioritize tasks, and drive project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, tools, and best practices, and evaluate their potential impact on our infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a focus on AWS cloud environments.
  • Strong understanding of AWS services and their capabilities, including but not limited to EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Route 53, Lambda, and RDS.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or Amazon ECS.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Golang for automation tasks.
  • Hands-on experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus, or Grafana.
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • AWS certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional or AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional are a plus.
