We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) team at Greater Manchester Mental Health Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide clinical leadership and work alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to children and young people with mental health needs.
Main DutiesThe Consultant Psychiatrist will be responsible for:
- Providing clinical leadership and expertise in CAMHS
- Working with the multidisciplinary team to deliver assessments, interventions, and care coordination
- Developing and implementing treatment plans to meet the needs of children and young people
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care pathways
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of clinical guidelines

Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will have:
- A medical degree and specialist registration
- Experience in CAMHS psychiatry
- Approved Clinician status (desirable)
- S12 status (desirable)
- Registration with the GMC
