About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our Pershore Short Breaks team. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning and physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of support staff in delivering person-centred care and support
  • Develop and implement individual care plans to meet the needs and outcomes of service users
  • Ensure the promotion of choice, dignity, and respect for all service users
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a high-quality service and the running of the service in the absence of management
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge of care standards, CQC regulations, and person-centred practice
  • Experience of leading and supporting staff, identifying staff motivations, and managing conflict
  • A good understanding of adult safeguarding procedures, mental capacity, and Deprivation of Liberty
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
