About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team in providing specialist services to Deaf and deafblind individuals with complex mental health needs. The successful candidate will have a doctoral qualification in Clinical Psychology or Counselling Psychology and be eligible for Chartered Psychologist status.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Highly specialist psychological assessments and therapies to patients and carers.
  • Expert advice and consultation on clients' formulation and psychological management.
  • Contribution to effective patient management by various teams in the area.
  • Supervision and line management of trainee clinical psychologists, assistant psychologists, CAPs, and less experienced psychology staff.
  • Audit, research, policy, and service development contributions.
  • Training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Doctoral Clinical Psychology or Counselling Psychology qualification or equivalent.
  • Post-qualification further specialist training in specified specialist intervention.
  • Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team and risk assessment and management.
  • Experience of delivering training, consultation, and advocacy work in this field.
  • Level 6 British Sign Language (BSL) and the ability to undertake clinical work in BSL.

Salary: £55,840 - £73,195 per annum (dependent on experience)
