Cybersecurity Specialist

Maxwell Bond is seeking a skilled Vulnerability Manager to join our team in Lancashire. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for securing our global estate by reducing the total number of security vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a plan to prioritize vulnerability patching in line with our overall security strategy
- Maintain regular communication with Managed Service Providers to ensure effective patching and remediation
- Respond promptly to high-priority new vulnerabilities and develop a patching plan to mitigate risks
- Lead the remediation of vulnerabilities using internal and external resources
- Provide technical recommendations for the replacement of End Of Life software and infrastructure
- Working knowledge of core security and infrastructure technologies, including firewall logs, network security tools, and malware detection devices
- Understanding of regulatory requirements, such as NIST, ISO27001, and Cyber Essentials, and experience in conducting security audits and ensuring policy compliance
- Experience with Qualys and other vulnerability scanning tools, including configuration and integration with other systems
