About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Education Manager for Pastoral Development to join our team at NextGen Teachers. As an integral member of our staff, you will be responsible for promoting academic achievement, social inclusion, and personal growth among our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement innovative strategies to foster a positive school culture, emphasizing academic excellence and social responsibility.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to develop inclusive practices that cater to diverse student needs.
  • Support students with SEMH needs through ISIP, enabling them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.

Teaching and Learning

  • Deliver a well-structured curriculum at Key Stage 3, incorporating core subjects like English, mathematics, and science.
  • Offer adapted curricula at Key Stage 4, featuring GCSE or vocational courses tailored to individual student needs.
  • Organize daily assemblies and Read-Aloud sessions, promoting a love of reading and a sense of community.
  • Manage social times, creating a welcoming atmosphere during lunchtimes.
