About the Role:
The role of SEN Post 16 Tutor & Mentor at Young Giants Ltd is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people. As a SEN Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering bespoke educational and employability support to learners with English as an Additional Language (EAL).
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires dedication, resilience, and a passion for working with SEN learners. If you have a strong understanding of safeguarding and a minimum of 2 years' experience in teaching or mentoring SEN learners, including ASD/ASC, ADHD & SEMH, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver KS4 English & Maths sessions to learners for whom English is not their native language
- Ability to provide a creative learning approach to support learning engagement, support with post 16 Further education applications and employability
- Maintain a flexible, creative and person-centred approach to best meet the individual needs of the learner
- Adhere to consistent fixed termly timetables with scheduled lesson times
What We Offer:
- Hourly Pay Rate: £30.00 - 40.00
- Weekly hours: Various on a self employed/PAYE basis
- Travel contribution: £7 to each learner's location
