We are seeking a dedicated KS3 LAC Tutor to provide tailored educational support to Key Stage 3 students who are Looked After Children (LAC).

Job Type:

This is a temporary, full-time position with regular hours during term time.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Assessing students' learning needs and creating individualised learning plans
  • Monitoring and tracking students' progress, providing feedback and support as needed
  • Collaborating with school staff and caregivers to ensure the educational needs of LAC students are met
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience working with Looked After Children
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 3 curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions:

This role involves working within learners' homes in Essex, with regular hours during term time. The successful candidate will work closely with LAC students and school staff to support their educational development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
