Job Role

As a Commercial Hair and Beauty Technician at Coleg Cambria, you will play a vital role in providing technical support for hair and beauty learning activities in our curriculum workshops, commercial salons, and off-site venues. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that learning materials, tools, and equipment are adequate for learning activities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Prepare and maintain learning materials, work pieces, tools, and equipment for issue to practical learning environments.
  2. Keep the workshop areas and technical store rooms tidy, with particular reference to tools, equipment, and component storage.
  3. Participate in ensuring a healthy and safe environment for students and visitors to the college.
  4. Assist with installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of the workshop, machine tools, machinery, and equipment.
  5. Control, order, and maintain records of workshop consumable stock, equipment, and other salon resources using the centralized software database.
