HGV Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team at Harwoods Ltd. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of vehicle maintenance and repair.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach.
  • Meet with customers to understand their problems and provide clear solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and vehicle range, ensuring you can diagnose and repair faults effectively.
  • Carry out repairs and servicing to the highest standards, observing safe working practices at all times.
  • Complete relevant service documentation, including job sheets, PDI's, and service reports.
  • Maintain workshop housekeeping standards, including the use of special and personal tools.
