Job Overview:
  Focus Resourcing is seeking an experienced UK Biomedical Technology Support Specialist to join our team at HCA Harborne Hospital in Birmingham. As a key member of our biomedical technology support team, you will be responsible for providing daily repair, preventative maintenance, and asset management of medical devices within various hospital locations.

  Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily repair, preventative maintenance, and asset management of medical devices within various hospital locations.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) on medical equipment as per manufacturer's guidelines.
  • Complete repairs as required on medical equipment as per manufacturer's guidelines.
  • Travel to various sites as required to perform Corrective and Preventive Maintenance.
  • Exceed contract KPI's to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Liaise with 3rd party suppliers for spare part and contract quotations.

  About the Role:
  Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in the service and repair of medical equipment, including patient monitoring, diathermy's (electrosurgery units), theatre tables, defibrillators, infusion & volumetric devices, and introduction to anaesthesia equipment. Familiarity with appropriate national and local regulatory standards is also essential. A qualification in Engineering, electronics, or medical technologies such as biomedical engineering is highly desirable. Field service experience and confidence working on various pieces of medical equipment are also key requirements.
