Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team at Thriplow CofE Primary School. The successful candidate will provide valuable support to our teaching staff, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for our students.

About the Role

This is a part-time opportunity, working 16.75 hours per week, 38 weeks per year. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and/or as a Teaching Assistant, with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. They will be highly organised, conscientious, and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload. A 'can-do' attitude and the ability to use initiative are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide classroom support to teaching staff
- Assist with lesson planning and preparation
- Help to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support the development of students' skills and knowledge
