Job Opportunity

Mencap is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Support Worker in the community.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities.

You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.

Your Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily activities to promote independence and well-being.
  • Provide emotional support and build meaningful relationships with service users.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality care and support.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

  • Has a genuine passion for supporting others.
  • Has excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Is flexible and able to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Has a positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
