Rapid7 is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our Product Analytics team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for unlocking the value of data through industry-leading innovation, cutting-edge modern tooling, and democratization at scale.

About the Team
The Data Platform team is responsible for providing Rapid7 stakeholders with timely, credible, and integrated data solutions to gain insights and scale the business. The Product Analytics function supports analytical tooling & processes, quality data models, and actionable metrics to empower Rapid7 to make data-driven decisions and measure customer outcomes.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our Product Analytics team. The ideal candidate has a solid foundational understanding of data analysis and relational databases with a passion for sharing knowledge and creating engaging training resources to educate others.

In this role, you will:

  1. Lead strategic analytics projects end to end, from requirements definition, to data modeling, to visualization.
  2. Partner with other members of the data team on broader data quality & governance initiatives.
  3. Drive engagement with our analytics community at Rapid7 by sharing best practices, community resources, and creating engaging enablement material.
  4. Assist with onboarding users and other administration tasks in Tableau.
  5. Assist with Tableau office hours to support developers across Rapid7.

Requirements
Working knowledge of SQL.Experience with relational databases and business intelligence tooling - Tableau preferred.Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and lead projects independently.Agile mindset & iterative approach to developing deliverables.5+ years of experience in a data-focused role is preferred.Prior experience working in the cybersecurity space preferred.Experience working with SaaS technologies like Snowflake, Tableau, etc preferred.BS in Analytics, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, Computer Science or another quantitative field or equivalent experience.
