About the Role:

We are looking for a Digital Operations Specialist to join our Digital team at Edinburgh Woollen Mill in Carlisle. As one of the largest fashion retailers in the UK, we're expanding our digital channels and seeking someone to oversee the smooth running of our ecommerce platforms and help drive growth in this key area of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a conduit between the Digital team and other departments, as well as external agencies and partners.
  • Ensure the efficient and effective operation of our ecommerce platforms.
  • Oversee web development plans, both ad-hoc and aligned with our wider digital strategy.
  • Coordinate and project manage inter-departmental teams to deliver best-in-class projects on-time.
  • Manage software integrations, including PIM, CRM databases, audience segmentation, email automations, loyalty programs, review and social media integrations, and despatch software.
  • Provide technical understanding for the business on new and existing software, assessing benefits and analyzing how they fit into our plans.
  • Identify areas for website improvement, focusing on UX and CRO techniques, presenting financial implications.
  • Produce and present digital trading and performance reports.
  • Provide technical assistance to our stores regarding the online ordering system.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in digital technologies, ideally with an ecommerce focus.
  • Knowledge of SaaS platforms, such as PIM, CRM, and ESP.
  • Project management experience, with a willingness to multitask and get things done.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • An ability to make the technical easy to understand.
  • Enthusiasm for the worlds of digital and fashion.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in an omni-channel environment, preferably in fashion.
  • Knowledge of GA4, GTM, and GSC.
