About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Minor Surgery Clinician to join our dynamic healthcare team at CHEC. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care and contribute to our commitment to excellence.

Main Responsibilities

The role holder will be accountable for high-quality clinical care to adult patients attending the community Minor Surgery service. This will include diagnosis and treatment of a variety of benign skin lesions, while also collaborating with the Dermatology team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Key Requirements

  • Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • Experienced GPs with a specialist interest in minor surgery, Accredited GPwERs or GPwSI in Dermatology who also perform Minor Surgery.
  • Evidence of specialty training in a relevant field, such as, Dermatology, General Surgery or Plastic Surgery.
  • Proven experience in performing minor surgical procedures independently.
  • Proficiency in local anaesthesia techniques and wound closure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Performers List proof (any performers list in the UK is acceptable).
