Job Title: SEN Support Assistant - Primary Education

A progressive primary school in Merton is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Support Assistant to join their vibrant team. As a key member of the staff, you will provide vital support to pupils with various Special Educational Needs, particularly those with ASD.

Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Description:
You will work alongside specialist teachers, therapists, and inclusion staff to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. Your role will involve managing the classroom setting, developing engaging activities, and delivering tailored programs to meet the diverse needs of pupils. The school has an Alternative Provision, providing a safe and interactive space for students to thrive.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
This role is ideal for a graduate or individual passionate about SEN who seeks to start their career in education or enhance their skills in this field. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, including Speech and Language Therapists, Hydrotherapists, and Psychologists. Additionally, this role offers valuable experience for aspiring Psychologists, SEN teachers, therapists, and primary school teachers.
