Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise a team of solicitors and support staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
  • Play an active role in business development, identifying new opportunities and driving growth within the department.
  • Lead by example, innovating and improving working practices to enhance efficiency and adopt new technology as appropriate.
  • Deliver exceptional legal advice to clients across the spectrum of private client work, including wills, powers of attorney, executries, trusts, estate planning, and cost of care advice.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Scottish Qualified Lawyer with circa 10+ years of post-qualification experience and a strong background in Private Client Law.
  • Partner level, with experience of managing a team and a proven track record of success.
  • STEP qualification is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff and clients.
