About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team at Nelson House, a leading provider of mental health services.

As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will provide clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with a variety of psychiatric disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop individualised treatment plans.
  • Provide expert clinical care for patients with complex mental health issues.
  • Lead multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of innovative treatment programs.
  • Offer clinical supervision and mentorship to junior medical staff and trainees.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to the academic and research activities of Nelson House.
Requirements
  • Medical degree and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • CCT in Psychiatry or equivalent qualification.
  • Extensive experience in the assessment and management of psychiatric disorders.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement.
