About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Optical Assistant to join our team at Costco Wholesale. As an Optical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Member Services: Assist members in selecting the perfect eyewear, providing expert advice on frame styles, lens options, and contact lenses.
  • Customer Experience: Deliver outstanding customer service, responding to member inquiries, and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, restock shelves, and ensure a clean and organized Optical department.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other Optical Assistants, Opticians, and store staff to achieve sales goals and provide a cohesive shopping experience.

Requirements:

  • Optical Experience: Previous experience in an Optical department, preferably in a retail or wholesale environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of optical equipment and software, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Flexibility: Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of our members.
