About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Renewable Energy Strategy Business Development Manager to join our team at Steele Charles Ltd in Edinburgh. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong interest in the energy transition to play a key role in supporting business growth and achieving strategic objectives.

Reporting to our inspired Strategy Director, you will assist in the scoping and managing of projects and research initiatives, ensuring successful delivery of strategic objectives. You will also enhance and support reporting processes as the organisation grows.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Create strong relationships and networks across the business to drive operational performance and delivery.
  2. Contribute to decision-making and implementation of business objectives and operational delivery of initiatives.
  3. Manage strategic projects from scope to delivery, aligned with objectives and outcomes.
  4. Organise and prioritise critical issues and required information for the Director to facilitate efficient discussion and decision making.
  5. Oversee operational systems and processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  6. Foster a culture of continuous improvement leading to innovation and excellence within our business processes.
  7. Interpret and present financial and commercial analysis to inform business decisions.
  8. Research market trends and industry developments to provide insights to senior stakeholders.
  9. Support the team and business units in providing quality management information in a timely manner for Board meetings.
  10. Maintain strict confidentiality in line with business requirements.
Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance.
  • Excellent numerical and organisational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and reporting skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to motivate colleagues towards collective deadlines.
  • A positive and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • The ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work and activities to ensure deliverables are met.
Compensation Package

We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including a base salary of £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, reflecting your exceptional skills and experience.
