Operational Resilience and Business Continuity Planning Analyst

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Business Continuity and Operational Resilience professional to join our team at Barclay Simpson. As a Business Continuity and Operational Resilience Risk Management Specialist, you will play a key role in enhancing our Operational Resilience framework and bringing the Business Continuity function to a higher level of maturity.
About the Role: In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for conducting Business Impact Analyses (BIAs), testing plans, conducting scenario testing, mapping important business services, and assisting with self-assessments. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with our team to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the continuity of our business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) to identify potential risks and disruptions to our business operations
- Develop and implement testing plans to ensure the effectiveness of our Business Continuity and Operational Resilience framework
- Conduct scenario testing to simulate potential disruptions and identify areas for improvement
- Map important business services to ensure continuity and minimize disruption
- Assist with self-assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must have hands-on experience with Business Continuity or Operational Resilience. You should have a strong understanding of risk management principles and be able to analyze complex data to identify potential risks and disruptions. Excellent communication and project management skills are also essential.
