Job Overview

As a Warehouse Supervisor at LKQ Euro Car Parts, you will play a crucial role in driving exceptional performance and standards within the branch operation. Leading a team of General Assistants, you will work to ensure that the branch achieves high performance and operational standards, ultimately delivering our Customer Promise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage warehouse operations, resources, and customer service within the branch, including line management responsibility for the General Assistant team.
  • Ensure all areas of the warehouse conform to Health and Safety legislation.
  • Work to deliver a balanced performance across key business metrics and KPI measures in line with business goals and objectives.
  • Ensure the branch is fully compliant with branch standards to maintain a balanced performance.
  • Lead, coach, and develop teams to create the skills and capabilities needed both now and in the future.
  • Hold regular colleague reviews to strengthen colleague engagement and support development.
  • Work with the Operations Manager to create a robust succession plan throughout the branch.
  • Ensure branch recruitment is right the first time, attracting future talent to the organization.
  • Deliver a structured daily briefing to ensure all colleagues understand key objectives and measures.
  • Average of 44 hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 6pm and alternate Saturdays between the hours of 8am and 4pm.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills to develop customer and colleague relationships.
  • Experience leading a warehouse operations team with a customer-first attitude.
  • Knowledge of recruitment processes.
  • Knowledge and understanding of P&L's and the booking of in and out stock.
  • Strong ability to highlight and resolve Health and Safety concerns.
  • Ability to review, challenge, and develop colleagues to achieve their best and help them develop.
