Operational Resilience Business Continuity Manager

Role/DepartmentThe First Line of Defense (1LOD) Operational Resilience Business Continuity Management (BCM) Team Manager will play a critical role in supporting the Operational Resilience Central Team and Practice Lead in coordinating Business Continuity Management across Business Units and Corporate Functions.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze business continuity requirements and develop robust recovery strategies to prioritize service continuity.
- Implement and embed the Operational Resilience framework and Business Continuity requirements across Business Units and Corporate Functions.
- Develop and maintain Operational Resiliency plans to facilitate the recovery of key resources, people, processes, technology, facilities, and vendors.
- Understand business exposures and potential business impacts.
- Report on Business Continuity Risks.
- Provide management reporting on recovery capabilities and remediation activities.
- Collaborate with the Non-Financial Risk function and Business Continuity stakeholders to develop and maintain Business Continuity strategies, policies, and standards.
- Identify and solve complex operational problems leveraging resources within or outside the Operational Resiliency department.
- Substantial experience in Business Continuity Management/Operational Resilience.
- Proven management skills, including team management, priority setting, and resource allocation.
- Working knowledge of relevant standards and regulations, such as ISO22301 and FCA/PRA/FFIEC/BoE.
- Working knowledge of Business Continuity Management technology tools, specifically Fusion.
- Management skills, stakeholder engagement experience, and an inclusive management style.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functions to achieve measurable results.
