About the Role:

We are seeking an exceptional Mathematics Teacher to join our team at Olympus school in South Croydon. As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students aged 11-19, promoting academic excellence and fostering a love for mathematics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach mathematics to students aged 11-19, using a range of teaching methods to engage and motivate learners.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans, ensuring that students meet their full potential and make progress in mathematics.
  • Assess student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices, resources, and ideas, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation in mathematics education.

Requirements:

  • QTS or QTLS Qualification
  • Proven teaching and learning experience, with a strong track record of student progress and achievement.
  • Experience teaching mathematics, with a deep understanding of curriculum requirements and assessment strategies.
  • Up-to-date safeguarding and child protection qualifications/knowledge and experience.
