About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Weekend Support Worker. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and medication management.
  • Offer companionship and social interaction to clients, engaging in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Assist with household tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation, to help clients maintain their independence.
  • Support clients with specialized needs, such as dementia, autism, or challenging behavior, using person-centered approaches and care plans.
  • Collaborate with our care team to ensure seamless care delivery and respond to client needs in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in care or a related field is an asset, but not required as we provide comprehensive training.
  • Valid driving license and access to a reliable vehicle for client visits.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shift patterns, including weekends, to meet client needs.
