Tax Transformation Senior Manager

We are seeking an experienced Tax Transformation Senior Manager to join our team at KPMG-UnitedKingdom. As a Senior Manager, you will lead and manage the overall delivery of tax transformation and technology projects, often as part of a wider finance transformation program.
Job Description:
Key responsibilities include understanding clients' priorities, designing, building, and deploying automation solutions for tax, and supporting clients in designing systems that address tax requirements in different countries. You will work together with Tax Transformation and GCT colleagues as well as other teams in KPMG such as Consulting to develop robust global governance and control frameworks. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing our service offerings and service delivery models, identifying opportunities to provide additional services, and establishing and maintaining strong client relationships.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more areas, including ERP Transformation, Tax Transformation, and Tax Provision Technology. You will be proactive, curious, committed, and invested in self-development and learning. A professional accounting or tax qualification and/or experience working in an in-house tax team with tax reporting responsibilities are also essential. We welcome applications from those qualified by experience, as well as ATT/CTA/ACA or equivalent qualifications. Project Management qualifications, along with specific transformation skills (Lean Six Sigma), are also welcome.
Key Skills:
- Hands-on experience of working in SAP finance and controlling modules
- Strong and practical ERP finance and tax experience of configuring SAP S4 HANA
- Experience of integrating VAT determination engines and bolt-ons
- Knowledge of implementing tax determination tools such as Vertex O-Series, Thomson Reuters OneSource Determination, or Meridian VAT Add-On
- Awareness of technology and automation to drive efficiency, risk management, and value
- Experience in process, risk, and controls design
- Experience of delivering large-scale SAP ECC and S/4 HANA finance and tax transformation implementations
