Operating on a global scale, the team handles the entire spectrum of procurement activities, ranging from fostering strong supplier relationships to ensuring coherence in expenditure plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies to secure a competitive edge for HSBC through the generation of lifecycle value, proficient demand management, and innovation.
- Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to execute designated initiatives, focusing on the comprehensive management of Consultancy from end to end.
- Establish and maintain rigorous governance frameworks into source-to-contract practices that align seamlessly across all Workforce Sourcing domains.
- Employ advanced analytical and synthetic skills in deploying various commercial models, emphasizing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and value generation.
- Oversee vital strategic supplier relationships and drive remedial action when warranted, individually and through the Categories resource pool.
Requirements:
- Possess extensive operational proficiency in procurement governance, risks, and controls.
- Demonstrate adeptness in post-contract processes and the risk oversight of procurement contracts.
- Bring to the table substantial experience in managing the expectations of, and negotiating with, senior stakeholders.
- Prior experience in line management is advantageous.
- Prior exposure to Workforce/Consultancy procurement is imperative.
