Demob Job Ltd is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team at their manufacturing site in Merseyside. The successful candidate will work as part of a small friendly team and will carry out planned and reactive support to the production machinery on site.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a financially stable company who are expanding, offering additional training and qualifications, working Monday to Friday and pay additional payments when working the late shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of production machinery.
  • Conduct electrical fault finding and diagnostic tasks to identify and resolve issues.
  • Work with electrical and mechanical engineering diagrams to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure effective maintenance practices and procedures.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Must have completed a recognised apprenticeship and hold an Electrical Engineering qualification to the minimum of Level 3.
  • Proven electrical fault finding and diagnostic skills.
  • 18th Edition is advantageous.
  • Must have strong mechanical skills.
  • Pneumatics experience is essential.
  • CNC experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical engineering diagrams.
  • Experience of working within a maintenance environment.

Benefits:

  • Basic salary £36,753
  • 15% shift allowance when working late shift.
  • Monday to Friday, rotational day shift pattern, 6am – 14:00 then 14:00 – 22:00.
  • Weekend overtime available.
