**About the Role:**

We are currently inviting applications for a temporary post of Lecturer in the Department of Humanities at Motherwell Campus.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a range of social subjects within SQA qualifications to level 8, ensuring a positive learning experience and effective delivery within their area of responsibility.

The role encompasses a range of responsibilities including teaching, assessment, administration, development, and personal development. The postholder will provide knowledge and expertise to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum.

**Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching social subjects to students
• Assessing student progress and performance
• Providing administrative support to the department
• Developing and implementing new curricula and programs
• Promoting personal and professional development within the department

**Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is £42,400 per year, based on 12 hours of work per week. The post is temporary and successful candidates will be placed on NCL's Lecturer Bank with delivery hours dependent on exigencies of the organisation.
