A Day in the Life
As a Housekeeping Coordinator (Public Area) at Holiday Inn Southend, you will play a key part in providing an exceptional welcome to our guests and ensuring they have a pleasant stay. On a day-to-day basis, you will primarily clean public areas of the hotel, including reception, meeting rooms, stairs, corridors, toilets, and restaurant. Occasionally, you may be required to clean guest bedrooms and bathrooms and ensure linen is laundered and amenities are replenished. You will comply fully with all regulations relating to Health & Safety, Food Handling, Fire Procedures, and COSHH.
Holiday Inn Southend boasts 129 modern bedrooms, conference & events facilities, and '1935', our Rooftop restaurant and bar. We are located next to London Southend Airport.
What Do We Need from You?
To be successful in this role, you will be passionate about providing an exceptional guest experience and living through our brand standards. You will enjoy working at a fast pace and be able to meet required high standards within the allocated time. You will need to be available to work on weekends as well as during the week and have the flexibility to work a mix of early shifts starting at 6am, middle shifts starting at 8am, or late shifts starting at 12pm when needed.

The estimated salary for this position is around £18,000 - £20,000 per annum, depending on your skills and experience. This is a competitive salary, and you will also receive a range of benefits that include hotel discounts, Wagestream, and more.
