Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver tailored educational activities to meet the needs of SEN students, in partnership with teachers and therapists.
  • Provide targeted support to students, promoting academic and personal growth, and developing strategies to address specific challenges.
  • Contribute to creating a positive learning environment by managing classroom behaviour and promoting social-emotional learning.
  • Work closely with parents and carers to ensure seamless support for students, through regular updates and meetings.
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs), aligning with school policies and objectives.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs is essential.
  • A caring, patient, and positive attitude, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team, sharing expertise and knowledge to enhance student outcomes.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are preferred but not essential.
Salary and Benefits
  • A salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of this role in supporting SEN students.
