Academics Graduate Teaching Assistant
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and caring Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Thrive Group. As a key member of our Primary School in Birkenhead, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic development of primary aged children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
In this rewarding position, you will have the opportunity to create inspiring opportunities for pupils' social, moral, spiritual and cultural awareness while delivering core subjects to small groups.
Key responsibilities include:
- Promoting the inclusion of all students, ensuring that every child feels valued and supported
- Implementing positive behaviour approaches, including Restorative Practice and Zones of Regulation
A good understanding of behaviour as communication, attachment theory, classroom communication needs, and the underlying principles of nurture provision will be essential for success in this role.
Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
