About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Application Security Leader to join our team at RX, a leading global events company. As a key member of our security team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our applications and data.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct thorough security assessments of our applications, including web, cloud, mobile, and API, using manual and automated source code review techniques.
  2. Collaborate with development teams to enhance the security posture of our applications and products, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  3. Administer and manage security tooling, including Sonarcube, Acunetix, Dtrack, and others, to ensure the security and integrity of our applications.
  4. Work with peer groups to safeguard company information assets against current and foreseen threats, implementing effective security programs and project deliverables.
  5. Collaborate with agile development teams to shift-left application security, embedding security tooling into their CI/CD pipelines and IDEs.
Requirements
  1. Proven understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, REST, and GraphQL APIs.
  2. Experience in security architecture reviews and risk assessments for applications in design and production phases.
  3. Demonstrated experience overseeing application security testing, prioritizing the resolution of security vulnerabilities, and increasing automation.
  4. Experience monitoring security systems for threats and identifying potential risks.
