About the Role:

The Senior Consultant – Digital Forensics & Expert Services position at Consilio LLC involves leading data preservation and digital investigations in complex litigation cases by leveraging digital forensic tools, technology, and protocols related to the collection and management of electronically stored information (ESI) from various data sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks related to the forensic examination of ESI under the supervision of a Manager.
  • Conduct testing and research for new workflows and methodologies.
  • Confidently perform remote and onsite collections in a defensible manner.
  • Collaborate with the forensic lab team to leverage infrastructure and job requirements.
  • Travel to onsite locations (regional and international) to perform data collections.
  • Leverage experience with forensic tools, including Encase, FEC, FTK, Axiom, Oxygen, and Cellebrite, to carry out forensic investigations.
  • Follow digital forensic good practice methodologies (ISO17025 standard and ACPO Principles of Digital Evidence) in all aspects of the forensic and eDiscovery workflow.
  • Communicate complex technical information effectively to non-technical clients.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge and understanding of evidence management.
  • Display a high degree of comfort operating in a client-facing environment and meeting client needs.
  • Ability to work independently on-site on small to medium-sized engagements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in forensic computing or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in related forensic and consulting roles.

Preferred Attributes:

  • EDiscovery experience with relevant forensic collection and analysis software.
  • Certifications in EnCase, Cellebrite, Nuix, CFE, or similar.
  • SQL or scripting skills.
