Role Overview: We are seeking dedicated and skilled Community Paediatric Care Assistants to join our team at Newcross Healthcare Solutions Limited.
About the Role: As a Community Paediatric Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to children and young people, addressing their complex clinical needs while offering practical support to their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Care and Support: Assisting with daily tasks to ensure the comfort and well-being of the child
- Challenging Behaviour Support: Managing and responding to challenging behaviours with sensitivity and expertise
- Community Access: Supporting the child in accessing and participating in community activities, fostering social interaction and independence
- Promoting Independence: Encouraging and empowering the child to achieve greater autonomy in their daily life
- Specialist Clinical Care: Providing advanced clinical care, including but not limited to invasive/non-invasive ventilation, tracheostomy care, enteral feeding, nebuliser treatment, and seizure management
Requirements: To excel as a Community Paediatric Care Assistant, you should have at least 6 months of professional care experience or experience caring for a loved one in the UK, a valid driver's licence and reliable access to a personal vehicle, and registration with Social Care Wales (SCW).
