Quantity Surveyor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Scott Dunn Consulting. The ideal candidate will have experience in civils and groundworks, with a strong background in cost control and project management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and negotiate Bills of Quantities, tender packages, and contract documents
  • Monitor and control project costs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures
  • Manage risk and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues
  • Forecast and report on project costs, providing accurate and timely information to stakeholders
  • Attend project meetings and collaborate with design teams, clients, and sub-contractors
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree in a construction-related field
  • Experience in civils and groundworks, with a strong understanding of cost control and project management principles
  • UK driving license
Benefits:
