HGV Technician Job Description

**About the Role**

We are recruiting for a skilled HGV Technician to join our team at the Nottingham depot of the Hartshorne Group. As a leading commercial vehicle distributor, we provide full parts and service facilities for Volvo Truck and Bus, as well as new and used sales, and a range of associated services.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Carry out fault diagnosis, service, and repairs to Volvo repair standards.
* Complete repair order write-up, service report sheets, and production card information.
* Work under pressure, actively seeking solutions to problems, and providing excellent customer service.

**Shift Pattern**

Alternate weeks, with one week working Monday to Friday 06:00am to 14:30pm and the next week working Monday to Friday 14:00pm to 22:00pm, with alternate Saturday mornings.

**Requirements**

* Qualifications: City & Guilds part 1 & 2, BTEC, or IMI in motor vehicle management (or equivalent) or equivalent practical experience in the commercial vehicle industry.
* HGV Licence advantageous but not essential.
