About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Carrondale Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, enabling them to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care and support to residents, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and nutrition.
  • Help promote social activity and engagement within the home, facilitating residents' participation in chosen activities.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and adhere to the home's policies and procedures.
  • Report any concerns or issues to the person in charge of the unit.
  • Participate in activities and outings to enhance residents' quality of life.
  • Respect residents' wishes and involve them in their care, promoting autonomy and choice.
  • Offer suggestions to improve the service and efficiency of the home.
  • Maintain good relationships with relatives and provide a welcoming environment for visitors.
