Tax Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our Personal Tax Team in Harrogate. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal tax and experience in managing a portfolio of high-net-worth private clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth private clients, dealing with compliance and advisory needs.
- Assist with the management of the group, supervising and reviewing the work of junior staff.
- Manage all aspects of the tax affairs of high-net-worth private clients, including non-UK Doms.
- Participate in tax-related projects outside of the individual's normal portfolio responsibilities, including one-off tax advisory projects and business development activities.
- Strong experience in personal tax and a commitment to a career in tax.
- Experience of running a tax compliance portfolio, including organising the delivery of work, problem solving, and using your own initiative.
- Previous experience of using computerised accounts or tax packages is useful.
- Motivated, committed, and flexible with the ability to meet deadlines.
The Personal Tax Team sits within the Private Wealth and Estates Group, recognised for its expertise in advising private clients and their businesses. We provide a personal partner-led service, concentrating on personal and business finances.
