Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting maintenance and modification activities on Royal Navy vessel systems, including:

  • Diagnosis and rectification of defects
  • Dismantle, refurbish and reassemble electronics
  • Carry out self inspections before official hand over to ship staff
  • Review of mast, periscope, radio and radar documentation

A HNC/HND or equivalent in a relevant engineering subject is required, as well as manual handling and working at height qualifications.

The salary for this role is estimated to be between £42,000 - £48,000 + benefits, depending on location and experience.
