Job Summary

Cento is seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a Fire Alarm Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, servicing, and testing of fire alarm systems, Automatic Opening Vents (AOVs), and emergency lighting in local authority and social housing properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and Servicing: Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and testing of fire alarm systems, AOVs, and emergency lighting to ensure systems are operational and compliant with industry standards.
  • Fault Finding and Repairs: Diagnose and rectify faults across fire alarms, AOVs, and emergency lights, ensuring systems are operational and compliant with industry standards.
  • Client Liaison: Engage with local authorities, social housing clients, and tenants to communicate clearly and provide professional service.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with Health and Safety guidelines, promoting safe working practices at all times.
  • Reactive and Planned Work: Undertake both planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs as required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Maintenance Specialist, particularly within social housing and local authority sectors.
  • Strong knowledge and experience working with fire alarm systems, AOVs, and emergency lighting.
  • Relevant industry qualifications, including FIA certification, City & Guilds, or equivalent.
  • Full UK driving license.
