About the Job

We are seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead our organisation through its next phase of growth and development.

This is a rewarding role offering hybrid and flexible working. The successful candidate will have a passion for improving the quality of life for unpaid carers by providing essential support, guidance, and resources.

Job Summary:

  • Lead the strategic leadership, operational management, and financial sustainability of the organisation.
  • Drive the mission forward, enhance visibility, and deepen the impact of the charity in supporting unpaid carers.
  • Work closely with a dedicated team of employees and volunteers to achieve results that are in the best interest of the charity.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for the organisation.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the organisation.
  • Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and other care organisations.

Requirements:

  • A thorough understanding of carers' issues.
  • A genuine commitment to and sympathy with, the organisation's objectives.
  • Leadership, management, and organisational skills.
  • The ability to think and operate strategically.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset able to lead the commercial part of the organisation.

Benefits:

  • $52 - $60k per annum salary.
  • 3% pension.
